| Our year focused on Olivia and all the fun and exciting things she discovered as an energetic three year old. Olivia experienced her first broken bone this summer. Mom and Dad seemed to be more traumatized by her broken collarbone than she was. It slowed her done a little, but not much. By the end of August, Olivia was all ready for her first swimming experience in a lake during the Hayes family vacation. Olivia helped plan Maxie’s 6th birthday party by buying balloons, flowers, and a cake for the celebration. Barnacle Bill the Pirate (aka Dad) had fun leading Olivia and her cousins on a Treasure Hunt. The kids had fun looking for clues and avoiding the booby traps. Thanksgiving was fun as we visited Olivia’s Grandma and Grandpa in Pennsylvania. The biggest excitement for Olivia this year was starting the Bloom & Grow Preschool program in the fall. She loves school and has made some new friends. She has enjoyed many activities with her class like the Halloween costume party, field trip to the petting farm, and Santa’s Workshop. Colleen turned 40 in August and celebrated by going to Savannah, Georgia with her friend Stacy. Bill stayed busy with his consulting, web development, and career counseling work. Olivia even accompanied him to a few meetings and presentations. |
