1. Obituary. U. H. McManigle Died Here Sunday Uriah H. McManigle, 77, of Main Street, died in his home Sunday after a lingering illness.
The deceased was born June 22, 1872 in Rose Township, a son to Robert and Margaret Steele McManigle. He was married to Margaret Lyle and belonged to the Methodist Church. He was a retired laborer.
Survivors include his wife and these sons and daughters: Alonzo and Eugene, of Brookville; Ray and Paul, of Tidioute; James, of Clarion; Floyd and Mrs. Lyle Sampson , of Titusville; Mrs. Joseph Bowley, of Johnsonburg; 32 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also a brother, Nicholas of Endeavor, and two sisters, Mrs. Esther Lyle, of Portland Mills, and Mrs. Elizabeth Mumford, of Brookville.
Friends will be received in the Reitz Funeral Home until 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon when services will be conducted by the Rev. Newton H. Swanson. Burial will be in the Brookville Cemetery.
