10. Obituary; May 1983. Carl B. Satterlee, 74, of 121 Pine St., Brookville, died Thursday, April 28, 1983 in the Brookville Hospital. He was born December 6, 1908 in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County, the son of James Morrow and Nettie Alvira (McManigle) Satterlee. He was married to Anna C. Fox who precede him in death in June 1969. He was later married to Helen Emerick Milliron who survives.
Mr. Satterlee was a member of the Methodist Church, FOE 965, Hobah Lodge 246 and Coudersport Consistory. He was retired from Jackson Vitrified China in Falls Creek after 49 years.
Surviving relatives include: his wife; two daughters: Mrs. Eugene (Anna Clair) Reed of Aliquippa; Mrs. Carl (Mary Alice Adcock of Aliquippa; two sons: Carl Benton Satterlee, Jr. of Somerset; William James Satterlee of DuBois; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two step-sons: Lewis Milliron of Greenville; brother, Howard Satterlee of Jackson, N.J.
Friends will be received in the Galbraith Funeral Home in Brookville after 7 p.m. Saturday, all day Sunday and until time of Services Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Brookville at 11 a.m. The Rev. Benton R. McKee will officiate and interment will follow in Temple Cemetery at Hazen.

Carl married Anna Clarissa Fox, daughter of Samuel Franklin Fox and Clara Alice P. Beatty, on 17 Oct 1926 in Brockport, Elk County, PA.
