This indenture made 1-Nov-1852, in the County of Livingston, at Nunda, N.Y., between Joel SATTERLEE & Esther his wife, Sylvester Jr. SATTERLEE & Hepsy his wife, Samuel SKINNER & his wife, Luanna [SATTERLEE] all of Nunda, N.Y,, of the 1st part & David CONKLIN of Easton, Wash., Co., N.Y., of the 2nd part, witnesseth that the said parties of the 1st part in consideration of the sum of $25.00 to them in hand paid by said party of the 2nd part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged have bargained sold, remised & quit claimed and by their presence do bargain sell remise & quit claim unto the said party of the 2nd part & to his heirs & assigns forever all that certain piece of parcel of land situate lying & being in the town of Greenwich, Wash., Co., N.Y., & bounded as follows; beginning in the center of the highway leading from Elizah JACKWAYS' to Fort Miller Falls & on the south west corner of a lot belonging to Gardner PHILLIPS, thence in an easterly direction to the west line of a lot of land belonging to Peter MAINS west line & the west line of Thomas DAILEY to the center of the highway leading from Samuel ROGERS to Robert PENN(RR)IGO? farm, thence westerly along said highway to the corner of said highway or fraction of said highway leading from Elijah JACKWAY's to Fort Miller Falls, thence along the center of said highway in a northerly direction to the place of beginning together with all & singular the hereditments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining & the reversions and remainders, rents, issues & profits thereof & all the estate right title interest claim & demand whatsoever of the said parties of the 1st part either in law or equity of in & to the above bargained premises to the said part of the 2nd part, his heirs & assigns to the sale & only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the 2nd part, his heirs and assigns forever, in witness whereof the parties of the 1st part have hereunto set their hands & seals this day & year above written; Joel SATTERLEE (*) (*seals); Susanna SKINNER (*); sealed & delivered in the presence of the State of N.Y,, Livingston Co., this 2-Nov-1852, before me the subscriber personally appeared the above named people to me known to be the persons described in & who executed the same & the said Esther, Hepsibah & Laura (Luanna) on a private examination by me apart from their said husbands acknowledged that she executed the same freely & without any fear or compulsion of her said husband.--Wm. D. HAMMOND--Justice of the Peace, State of N.Y., Livingston Co., Clerk's Office, I certify that Wm. D. HAMMOND, esq , was at the date of the certificate of proof or acknowledgment of the annexed instrument in writing, a Justice of the peace in & for the said county duly authorized to take the same that I am well acquainted with his hand writing and verily believe that the signature of said certificate is genuine, in Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand & offixed the seal of siad county this 4th of Nov. 1852--Israel D.
